For many years I went to the RAF Abingdon air display where I was thrilled by the Lightning enthralled by Red Arrows and entertained by the Parachute displays teams, but the high spot was always the Vulcan.

In those days they could fly over the crowd and I would lie on my back looking up to the sky as the Magnificent plane flew low over the crowd with the bomb bay open. That sparked a life long love affair with this beautiful plane which has taken me to many air fields even in the most atrocious weather to get my annual ‘fix’.

I will be getting maximum ‘fixes’ this year then sadly no more, It brings a tear to the eye.

I would like to give whole hearted thanks to those who had the vision, commitment , drive and downright hard work to make these bonus years possible. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
