AVRO Vulcan XH558 – ECU 620119 – Section of Rear Bellows (Exhaust Cone) Strap

Up to 1965 Olympus engines carried a ‘Rolls-Royce Bristol’ engine plate, after then ‘Bristol’ was dropped from the description. This piece was removed from an original Rolls-Royce Bristol Olympus 202 Turbojet, Engine Change Unit (ECU) 620119.   

The ECU was fitted to XH558 during her time with the Vulcan Display Flight in RAF service. The clamp was replaced during the XH558 restoration project 2005-2007.

The purpose of the strap was to provide secure connection between the Engine Bellows unit and the Jet Pipe.

• Each section comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity which displays the position of the section on the ECU
• Approximate size: 107 m/m Length x 25 m/m Width (widest part)
• The piece is presented in a branded black and silver display box
