CANBERRA WK163 – Scorpion Logo Navy Cap
The Canberra WK163 logo displaying the Scorpion is embroidered on the front of the cap.
On 28th August 1957, WK163 captured the world altitude record. Fitted with a Napier “Double Scorpion” NScD1/2 rocket motor WK163 achieved a height of 70,310 feet. After its record breaking flight the scorpion and record detail were painted onto WK163’s nose.
