We make every effort to describe items accurately, but may sometimes get things wrong.

If we have made a genuine mistake then please get in touch so we can rectify the issue.

Any items for return must be advised within 7 days of receipt and must be returned in exactly the same condition as they were, when despatched.  If any attempt has been made to modify or repair the item without authorisation then the return will not be accepted. Refunds will only be made upon inspection following receipt.

We will arrange delivery promptly upon receipt of payment & we will send a message to confirm.

Courier or Royal Mail will be used for all items under 25 Kg in weight and within certain size parameters. As most items are unique they will generally be sent via a tracked service to protect the Trust.

Outside of this weight, and with oversize items, collection for our base location will be necessary. We can be flexible on collection days and times.

1st Prize

Flight in a Spitfire

Fly from famous former RAF fighter base Duxford near Cambridge and London with the Aerial Collective team. Home of Douglas Bader, location for the 1969 Battle of Britain film and Imperial War Museum. 

Take the opportunity to look upon this iconic airfield from the air, and while looking along Warbird wings remember all those who risked their lives as they flew through the same airspace.

Then take in the rich history displayed across the Imperial War Museums hangars, and learn the stories of all those that worked to keep Britain safe as you discover how aviation has developed across the years.

2nd Prize

Vulcan XH558 Olympus Turbine 5 Blade Unit

This blade unit was removed from Bristol Olympus Jet Engine No 620378 Unit T18 whilst in use in XH558 and service with the RAF Vulcan Display Flight. It was fitted to XH558 on her final flight into Bruntingthorpe upon retirement from the RAF after being purchased by C. Walton Limited. The engine was later damaged in an incident and changed prior to XH558 being purchased by Vulcan to the Sky Trust

3rd Prize

Delta Bravo Wheels-Up model of XH558

Bravo Delta Models – Avro Vulcan XH558 – Museum quality scale model, with gear up, complete with plain black display stand and descriptive label.

Scale 1:78, length 16″/406mm, span 17″/432mm.

This is a real quality piece of work, with a high standard of paint and decal finish.

These are hand-made by craftsmen. No two models will ever be quite the same – yours will be unique!

Framed "Topside Climb" print of XH558, signed by 5 Aircrew

A superb photo of XH558 performing a Topside Climb. The signing took place at RNAS Yeovilton by:

Aluminum Wall Art Picture Ghost from Goose Bay

The Ghost from Goose Bay is a stunning image displaying the power and grace of the Avro Vulcan. The Wall Art has been reproduced from a painting by renowned British aviation artist and illustrator Wilfred Hardy, GAvA.

This frameless anodised Aluminium Wall Art is manufactured in the UK using a special four colour process for photographic quality images, giving a more vibrant and more metallic effect surface. The stunning piece will enhance any wall of any home.

The grade of aluminium is similar to that used on XH558 during the restoration project in 2007, and has been anodised to protect it against corrosion, enhance the aesthetic qualities, resist scratching and provide of the most durable surface finishes available.

The artwork measures 600mm x 450mm x 1.0mm. This prize is unique in that it is the proof version of the successful production run, which comes with a replica ID plate of XH558 and certificate of authenticity.

– You then press ‘Advance to Checkout’.

– Enter your details and payment information.

– You will receive an email confirming your order and raffle ticket number(s)

– The draw will be made on 28 February and all winners notified shortly afterwards.

By entering the Raffle, all participants agree that they have read and agreed with the terms and conditions of the draw which are detailed below:

General:
All participants must be over 18 years of age and a UK resident.

Tickets to the draw cost £2 each and can be bought individually. Each ticket purchased gives an equal and individual entry into the draw.

Online entry:
The public can enter our raffles online. Strict controls exist to protect against under age entry, habitual or excessive gambling by use of this entry method.

Entrants must confirm that they are over 18 on entry and must provide a daytime contact number.

Random telephone calls will be made to verify any such entrants are eligible and that they did indeed request entry. Multiple requests will be monitored and any excessive applications will be referred to our promoter for reference under our social responsibility guidelines.

By entering, you agree that you qualify under the terms of entry and that you desire to be entered in the draw.

The draw will be made in front of independent witnesses at Doncaster on Tuesday 28th February 2023.

Winners will be announced online and posted on our website www.vulcantothesky.org If you would like written notification of the winners, then please send a SAE to the above address with RAFFLE RESULTS printed in the top left corner.

Social Responsibility:
In order to be socially responsible and to deter organised or habitual gambling, online entries are restricted to a £20 maximum at any one time. We reserve the right to refuse multiple applications by any method without explanation and the promoter’s decision will be final.

Tickets will be available for purchase at various events by The Vulcan to the Sky Trust throughout 2022 and 2023.

Prizes:
All prizes are as described on the promotional page of this web site. Winners will be notified, with the winning names and ticket numbers being displayed on our website within 7 days of the draw taking place.

All prizes will have an alternative in case of circumstances beyond the promoter’s control, but this will be discussed with each prize winner and mutually agreed should any situation arise due to weather or technical issues preventing the specified prize/s taking place in reasonable time.

There are no cash alternatives to the prizes offered.

Eligibility:
All participants must be over 18 years of age and a UK resident when the tickets are purchased. Tickets must not be knowingly sold to anyone not meeting these criteria. Tickets may not be sold willingly outside of the mainland of the United Kingdom. Certain restrictions apply in Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands for the sale of physical tickets.

UK residency or proof of UK Citizenship may be requested. Winners may nominate relatives or friends to undertake the prize if applicable and agreed with us.

By entering you agree to limited photographic publicity in connection with the prize offered in the nature of promoting future raffles for the Trust. At all times your personal details will be protected, other than your name and general geographic home location to satisfy our legal obligations in announcing the winners in a clear and fair draw.

Travel to redeem prizes will be at the winner’s expense unless a payment towards expenses is detailed as part of the prize. In such circumstances, the Trust is limited to the amount offered. We can make no compensation due to the cancellation of any event due to circumstances beyond our control, technical, weather or otherwise. If required an alternative date or event will be arranged as possible.

We do not use your details or that on any entry to pass to third parties, but from time to time, may use your data for other Trust information and promotional activities. In this case, you will have the option of being removed from our records if desired at any future point in time.

Proof of identity and age maybe requested if deemed necessary at any time in connection with the ticket sales or delivery of prizes.

Certain good health conditions apply with some of the prizes. It is the prize winner’s responsibility to advise the Trust of this situation in advance if you feel there are conditions you need to declare.

Employees or appointed contractors of The Trust or of any company providing the prizes are not permitted to enter the draw.

Flights in any aircraft are subject to various height, weight and health requirements. Please view these terms and conditions from Aerial Collective relating to the Spitfire flight.
