The Limited Edition timepiece is limited to only 133, representing each member of the aircrew who flew the Operation Chastise raids.
This premium handmade timepiece is constructed of an alloy watch case with a dark Brown/Black sustainable wood bezel. The caseback is made of stainless steel and the strap is black leather completed with a buckle that is engraved with the airframe serial number, ED825. The face of the watch displays a colour print of Avro Lancaster B Mk III S (Type 464 Provisioning), ED825, which was allocated the call sign AJ-T ‘for Tommy’ for the Dambuster raids.
Each Limited Edition Dambusters 80th Anniversary Watch is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity displaying its unique number.
Each watch comes complete in its own bamboo presentation box. The box is engraved with the text ’80th Anniversary, Attack on Sorpe Dam, Germany’ above a front profile image of the Lancaster. Beneath the Lancaster image is the text ‘ED825 call sign AJ-T, 16/17 May 1943, Lest We Forget’. This engraving is also proudly displayed on the caseback of the watch.
Watch movements are the heart and brains of our timekeeping devices. The Dambusters 80th Anniversary Watch is fitted with Japanese quartz watch movement – these are made by the Miyota division of Citizen Ltd and are considered to be one of their most famous and most reliable movements. Their heritage dates back to 1959 when Citizen Watch established a movement-making factory with a spirit of excellence and innovation.
This collectors’ watch honours the brave aircrew of the Dambuster raids.

Is my watch waterproof?
The Limited Edition 80th Anniversary Dambusters watches are splash proof. Activities that might include full immersion in water such as showering or swimming are not recommended and will cause failure of the watch. Water ingress is not covered by the warranty.
Can IÂ change the battery?
The 80th Anniversary Dambusters timepieces have been designed to be user friendly, the selection of the Japanese movement enables the wearer to change the battery with relative ease. The battery is located behind the back plate. Your local watch repairer will be able to undertake this task for you.
Return and Warranty Period
If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase we offer a 14 day return policy. Contact us for return information by emailing enquiries@vulcantothesky.org. We will advise return details and arrange an exchange or refund when the watch has been received and inspected.
Your timepiece has a 12 month workmanship warranty from the date of purchase. Please keep your delivery receipt which will act as your warranty. The warranty does not include general wear and tear, water ingress and battery failure.
